Lagori Collective is a research and design practice based in Bengaluru, India. We collect only what we need to stay in touch, deliver what you ask for, and understand how our work travels. We do not run advertising, build user profiles, or track you across the internet.

What we collect
We collect data only when there is a clear and specific reason to do so. Providing personal data is voluntary, but some information is required for us to fulfil requests such as purchases or responses to enquiries.
Orders
When you place an order, we collect your name, delivery address, email, and phone number to process and fulfil your purchase. This is necessary for the performance of a contract.
Practitioner network form
When you join our practitioner network, we collect your name, email, organisation, location, and area of practice to build and stay in touch with the network. Lagori Collective LLP acts as the data controller for this information. This is processed based on your consent when you submit the form.
Newsletter (via Substack)
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send you writing and updates. This data is collected, stored, and managed by Substack under their own privacy policy. You can unsubscribe at any time. This is processed based on your consent.
Website analytics (via Squarespace)
We receive site traffic data such as page visits, referral sources, and device type to understand how people move through the site and improve the experience. Squarespace may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and site functionality. This is processed under legitimate interest and is limited to what is necessary without overriding your rights and freedoms.
Direct contact
If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message in order to respond and, where relevant, maintain ongoing communication. This is processed under legitimate interest.
What we do not do
We do not run ads or use tracking tools that follow you across websites. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our site, contact us at hello@lagoricollective.in and we will remove it promptly. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we explicitly confirm that we do not sell personal data.
Payments
Payments are processed through Razorpay under their own privacy policy. We receive payment confirmation and limited transaction details but do not store card or bank account information.

Data storage and international transfers
Lagori Collective LLP is based in India. Depending on how you interact with the site, your data may be processed in India or on the servers of tools we use. For visitors in the EU and EEA:
Squarespace processes data on servers located in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States, under applicable data transfer mechanisms, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant

How long we keep data
Order records are retained as required by Indian law, typically up to seven years
Practitioner network data is kept while the network is active or until you request removal
Newsletter data is stored and managed by Substack
Analytics data is managed and retained by Squarespace in accordance with their policies
