Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Lagori Collective website and any purchases you make through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, you can always reach us at hello@lagoricollective.in.
Who we are
Lagori Collective LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in India, operating as a research and design practice.
Products
We currently sell physical zines dispatched from Bengaluru, India. We do our best to ensure product descriptions are accurate, but minor variations in print, colour, or finish may occur. Each print run carries small differences, and that’s part of the nature of the medium. We may update or discontinue products, or limit quantities, without prior notice.
Ordering
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We confirm acceptance by email once your payment is received. If we are unable to fulfil your order for any reason, we will let you know and issue a full refund. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if necessary, including in cases of pricing errors or suspected misuse.
Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). International customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their bank or payment provider. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes where stated. Payments are processed securely through third-party providers. We do not store your card or bank details.
Shipping and delivery
Orders are dispatched from Bengaluru, India. Delivery times may vary depending on where you are and how shipping conditions unfold. For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges that may apply. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs processes, though we’ll do our best to help if something seems off.
Returns and cancellations
As our products are physical print items, we do not accept returns unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect. If this happens, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. We may ask for photos or a few details to understand what went wrong before resolving it.
Workshops
We may offer workshops through this website. When we do, specific terms covering bookings, cancellations, and substitutions will be made clear at the point of purchase.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including writing, design, and imagery, belongs to Lagori Collective LLP or creators who have licensed it to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any content without our written permission. Physical zines, books and any other material you purchase are for personal use. You are welcome to share, lend, or display them, but not reproduce or distribute their contents commercially.
Website availability
We aim to keep the website available and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it will always be accessible or free from errors. We may suspend or restrict access from time to time for operational or maintenance reasons. If you find yourself here late at night, we might gently suggest calling it a day. These are just nudges, not restrictions, and you’re free to continue if you choose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lagori Collective LLP is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the value of the order. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, industrial action, customs delays, postal disruptions, or government restrictions. If something like this affects your order, we will keep you informed as best we can.
Dispute resolution
We would always prefer to resolve things directly. If you have a concern, contact us at hello@lagoricollective.in and we will make a good-faith effort to find a fair resolution within 14 days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of India and subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Changes to these terms
The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any updates. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
